Here at AWB we are proud stockists of Dickies Workwear and we often check to see what Dickies are up to. For the last five years Dickies Workwear has been running an annual competition to find the UK’s hardest workers in order to “reward excellence in the British workforce.”

Apart from the first winner back in 2010, the award has since been won by successful women who have set up their own business empires or have shown outstanding service to charities. So if you know someone who is deserving of this fantastic award make sure you fill in an entry form before the 5th September 2014.

As one of the Directors of AWB, I lead our overall service and product offering; from designing our processes and products, to how we present them and critically how we ensure we give our customers the best service possible. I am an architect by profession, having worked in international practice for 15 years, across various sectors including residential, office, laboratory and education. This has given me a keen eye for quality and detail, but also perspective in being able to absorb customer requirements and provide tailored responses. I am keen on utilising cross industry design expertise to deliver a high quality product for our customers. I strive to ‘do more with less’ and ‘keep it simple’. I am very much into Formula 1, guitars and an emerging mid-life crisis hobby of surfing.
